Qualeh Had First shift running the stall for the Enchanting class. They were trying to recoup some of the (significant) expenses that they had incurred over the school year by selling items they made. Most of the items were harmless baubles, lots of good luck charms, a few that would help you find your soulmate, a self-heating pot, and stuff like that. Most of the attention was on the Chorus and Dance groups downstairs, but he couldn't honestly claim to mind the slow traffic. "I lay in wait in coldness and darkness but yet I shine bright and hot waiting for a master to weild me and use me to shape a work of art. Hrmph, seems easy enough." Qualeh noted, pulling the raven-themed hood and mask back over his head, before conjuring a raven. "Messenger, head over to the metalworking room and do a bit of preliminary searching." Returning from the nurse's office with a repaired hand and foot, Qualeh decided to kill the remaining time by figuring out some of the properties of the stick and metal. He first stopped by the dorm to tell Malati where he was going and to invite her along. He wasn't terribly surprised that she declined and chose to continue making herself at home in the dorm. While waiting for Klayton to arrive, and Malati was busy wandering the halls in an attempt to get a feel for the building, Qualeh decided to check out the storage room. It was as spotless as the rest of the dorm, but was less well-lit. It was illuminated by a single light bulb hanging from the middle of the ceiling. Qualeh furtively glanced into his new dorm, it seemed he was the first one to move in. He supposed that wasn't particularly surprising, given that he was watching the development more closely than most. He slipped in, and gestured the summon he had carrying his stuff to follow. Fresh home from the first day back at MSA, one of the first things Qualeh did was pull off his uniform to change into his regular clothes, the layers of wards and enchantments fitting him like a glove. The sun was shining, which was good. It reminded Qualeh of home, despite the significantly higher humidity. He shook his head, no time to lollygag, he had practice to do. A wave of his hand left a trail of smoke. The mist tried to condense into insects, as it normally did, but that was not the point of the exercise. The assignment was, in theory, insultingly easy. Use magic in a manner that makes everyday life easier, and in a manner that isn't in any violation of school or national laws. Qualeh overheard some of the other students complaining about it being a waste of time, but he was worried. Most of his abilities were prone to cause most situations to become worse. The weaponcrafting shop had a unique smell, metallic with a hint of acid, and some aromatic herbs mingled with the incense that tried its hardest to combat the warring odors of alchemy, forging, and enchanting that permeated every crack of the room. In the center of the room was an ingenious combination of dispenser and smelter, the student would need only state the material and quantity, and it would be poured from one of the ports into whatever mold the student had prepared. magic forms, types and origins in the corconverse

For anybody who cares, some general info about the magic in my writing forms: ~Circle: A very strong and stable form of magic, and can easily be made permanent by inscribing it on a surface. It's main flaw is that it takes time to draw a magic circle.(such as corcon's healing spells) ~Mental Flexible in the extreme, purely mental magic can be lased out almost instantly, although it can generally be disrupted or nullified by more powerful magic.
